It was the heavy rain made the cause
When I first saw you sitting on the bus.
Everything had turned to pause
Every time my eyes were closed!
Or was it my lucky day became the destiny of ours?
I tried to make a curve line on my pallid lips;
I barely maintained a captivating posture from head to hips
I coerced my body to cease from shivering
Just to seize the attention of this stranger’s eyes that were so fascinating!
At last, you looked at me!
But oh, with a passionless peek?
But then, I pretended like a timid bird
Acting like a genius nerd!
I blinked my eyes a hundred times
Like a duckling of old kinds!
Still, you did not smile nor say a simple “Hi”!
Rather, you’ve just stared at my soiled feet,
And took a funny glance at my slippers’ with a dry leaf stuck on the edge of it!
You suddenly turned your head away
When you saw my face became red from gray!
I gently bowed my head and silently took out the leaf away,
Whispering “oh my God!” , I pray!
I wanted to shout as loud as I can,
To release the embarrassment I felt to this man,
Who had never seen my beauty,
Who had never noticed my sexy body!
Who just watched me standing besides thee!
Now I felt so tired and cold like a dying rose!
When this heart of mine made a toss,
To a cold heart of yours;
Who had never seen my gleaming heart that lost?
You’d never invited me for a seat
Even though you’ve seen me like a grasshopper
Jumping through the humpy street
Almost embracing the old and bony driver!
Finally the guy smiled at me
He stared directly to my eyes
And my heart felt so glee!
I blushed like a red dyes
It seemed like I wanna die
After I’ve seen his killer smile!
Parrsssk! The bus suddenly stopped,
I preponderated and fell unto his arms over his lap.
All in a slow motion, faces more closer and closer,
And eloquently heard and felt his breath in my ear..
He stared at me, I stunned and shocked, then heard a whisper;
“you know what sis?!, duh! I like your eyeliner..!”
