What's With My Name???

by the way to those who do not know me yet my name is Jig never mind  my surname!

so now, you know me already............

"ahhmm...wa-what?? can you repeat your question ?...ahhhh... o-ok,ok...i get it!"

ahmm, sombody asks me about," whats with my name?"

so here it is...

actually, i really asked my mother about my name, of why she chose the name Jig as my legal name, take note,"legal"...which is too short to mention. so this was the answer of my mother:

  " once upon a time, when your mother son was still young and single, I once fell inlove with a guy and this guy whom i fell inlove with was so sweet,kind,respectfull,and of course handsome (pero walay makalabaw sa imong amahan! basi magselos). this guy liked me too, but during that time i was  being so "pakiput" you know naman son"dalagang bukid"! then we were both in good company though,we were still in the stage of  what so-called as "friend,friend!" no more,no less!  but one day i was so shock and regretfull.. you know why son? i found out that he already had a girlfriend..he hurted me so much although we dont have any commitment.. but still, it hurts you know! but i realized that we were not meant for each other! until, i met your father! (namawi si mama)... you know what son his name is  tattarantaran! JIGO! (kaya pala!) so in order to remember him,since he was still  part of the history of my love affairs....so i got the origin of your name from him..(naku si mama talaga! buti di nagselos si papa)...... no!no! your father was the one who chose that name for you! hehehe! because i told him about that guy! since you are our last offspring, maybe he was being forced to give that name.... JIG! nevertheless, we have another reason why we have chosen the name jig so that you wii have no difficulty in writing your name when you will be engaged to school..(may gani naa pay laing reason).....so nak thats all about the history of your name!!!"

...so now! you've learned and known about the background of my name...that somewhat kind of teleserye...may history pa talaga!..

oh my NAME! MY NAME!..... my name also will be found in the dictionary, JIG which means: 
a. Any of various lively dances in triple time.
b. The music for such a dance. Also called gigue.
2. A joke or trick. Used chiefly in the phrase The jig is up.

i dont know why the meaning of my name goes like that... kadiri ko ngang sumayaw!hehehe..

but in general! I really like my name..hehehe.... JIG

• JIG COMES FROM THE NAME AFTER JIGO, THE GUY WHOM MY MOTHER FELL INLOVE WITH, BUT ITOY NAUDLOT NA PAG-IBIG!!!

• MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME SO THAT I CAN WRITE IT EASILY AND RAPIDLY! 

• MY NAME WILL BE FOUND IN THE DICTIONARY MEANING THE MUSIC FOR SUCH A DANCE.
